Calm Assertiveness Goal
A 90-day training programme for steady self-expression that respects others and you, with weekly check-ins.
From repeated silence or sharp reactions, toward practicing steady expression that considers others and does not ignore your need. A 90-day behavioral training program that starts with a short baseline (under 10 minutes) to place you on the right branch, with weekly check-ins and a re-baseline after at least 21 days. A behavior-development tool, not a diagnosis.
What's included
- Move toward steady, calm expression of your needs and boundaries, without being harsh on others or withdrawing from the situation
- Grow the dimension that is less prominent in your result — assertiveness if you are calm and silent, or calm if you are assertive and reactive — starting from the branch your baseline determines
- Get a re-baseline after at least 21 days, to compare your initial self-estimate with where you started

Frequently asked questions
How does the program know which branch suits me: assertiveness or calm?
Your baseline measures two independent axes: how calm you stay in provoking situations, and how much you actually express your needs and boundaries. Whichever is less prominent in your result determines your branch: if your expression of need is less prominent than your calm, you start on the assertiveness-building branch; if your calm is less prominent than your expression, you start on the calm-building branch. This routing is an estimate for as long as the classification thresholds are provisional. If the two axes are equal for you or both low, you start on the assertiveness-building branch, and the routing remains an estimate, so you can take from the other branch what fits your situations. The final target for both branches is the same.
Does this program change my core personality, or does it train a specific behavior within it?
It trains a specific behavior — how you express your needs and boundaries — and does not change your core personality. We do not yet have data on the size of the effect: the effectiveness of this program on its users has not been measured, its design is internal and simplified, and it is not a promise of a radical change in who you are. You will not become an entirely different person; you will remain yourself, and your chances of expressing yourself steadily may grow.
How long does the program take, and when will I start to see a tangible effect?
Baseline takes under 10 minutes. The full program runs 90 days in four phases (21, 21, 21, and 27 days). The first phase of your branch starts from day one, the habit-formation checkpoint arrives around day 60-70, and the first re-baseline, an initial self-estimate for comparison, is not shown before at least day 21. We do not have data on when a noticeable effect appears, and responses vary from person to person.
How accurate and scientifically reliable is this program, and how much real change can I expect?
The baseline item bank is new and has not yet been statistically calibrated on real respondents; so your routing to a branch and the reading of the re-baseline remain estimates at this stage. As for the size of change across a full program cycle, we do not yet have data on it, since the effect of this program on its users has not been measured; its design is an internal, simplified one, and it is not a promise of complete transformation.
Who exactly benefits from this program, and who is it not suited for?
It suits anyone who feels a clear practical gap between what they feel internally and what they actually express — whether through repeatedly staying silent about their needs, or through sharp reactions that push people away. It does not suit someone facing a genuine threat or abuse situation that needs immediate protective action (legal or safety-related) rather than gradual communication training — those situations need an entirely different kind of specialized support, and this is a self-directed behavioral training program, training, not treatment, and it neither substitutes for that support nor is offered as an alternative to it. If anger reaches the point of harming yourself or others, seek a qualified specialist.
What if I stop or miss a week: do I lose my progress?
No. Missing a full week is not a failure — specific recovery scenarios await you in non-punitive language, returning you to the phase you were in, not to zero. A lapse is an expected part of any extended behavioral intervention, and managing it is part of the program itself, not something outside it.
How is my real progress measured, and what is the difference between genuine improvement and a passing fluctuation?
Through comparing your first baseline against a re-baseline measurement not shown before at least 21 days from the start of the program. Until the item bank is statistically calibrated, no difference is interpreted as a confirmed improvement or setback; it is shown for your information only, as an initial self-estimate. The recommended time for the first re-baseline is near the end of phase four, between day 80 and day 90.
Can I add another goal from the family later?
Yes — each of the ready-made goals (including this one) is an independent, standalone program, and you can purchase and start another goal later as a separate program. If you want to combine two or more skills into one interleaved track from the start instead of sequencing them, see the Desired Personality Builder, which is designed to combine several goals in one program; its page lists how many goals it supports.
