Boundary Setting Goal
A 90-day training programme to build a way of saying no that suits you, with weekly check-ins.
From difficulty saying no, to a refusal ability that fits your starting point. A 90-day behavioral training program that starts with a short baseline (under 10 minutes) to place you on the right branch, with weekly check-ins and a re-baseline after at least 21 days. A behavior-development tool, not a diagnosis.
What's included
- Increase your ability to refuse what exceeds your capacity or values, starting from a point that fits your actual severity
- Progress through a graded refusal-exposure ladder designed for your branch, mild, moderate, or high, not one uniform track that fails people at both ends of the spectrum
- Get, after enough time, a re-baseline that compares with your baseline and is read as an early signal of change

Frequently asked questions
How does the program gauge how hard it is for me to say no and choose my branch?
Your baseline measures a single axis, assertiveness in setting boundaries, and reflects how much you avoid refusing across varied situations according to your own answers. Your result places you in one of three branches: mild difficulty (a first observation phase and then a small refusal in low-stakes situations), moderate (a lower start), or high (deliberately starting at the smallest possible steps). The final target for all branches is the same: increasing your ability to refuse without excessive guilt. The cut-offs that assign a branch are provisional and not yet calibrated, so treat your branch as a first estimate.
Does this program change my core personality, or does it train a specific behavior within it?
It trains a specific behavior, your ability to refuse and set boundaries, and it does not change your core personality. The idea behind the program is that regular repeated practice may help change a specific behavior, not bring an immediate, wholesale transformation in who you are; this is an internal design whose effectiveness has not yet been measured on users. You will not become an entirely different person who is assertive in every situation; you will remain yourself, with a clearer ability to refuse when you want to.
How long does the program take, and when will I start to see a tangible effect?
Baseline takes under 10 minutes. The full program runs 90 days. The first phase of your branch starts from day one, the habit-formation checkpoint arrives around day 60-70, and the re-baseline is not available before at least day 21, and it is better read after the second or third phase.
How accurate and scientifically reliable is this program, and how much real change can I expect?
The baseline item bank in its current form is preliminary and not yet statistically calibrated, so its result is an initial self-estimate that shows your starting point and guides the choice of your branch, not a standardized measurement. As for the size of the change to expect across a full cycle, we do not know it yet because the program has not been tested on users, and it is not a promise of complete transformation.
Who exactly benefits from this program, and who is it not suited for?
It suits anyone who feels a practical gap between wanting to refuse and what they actually do, at any difficulty degree from mild to high, and the exposure ladder adapts to your actual severity. It does not suit someone whose refusal is actually met with a threat, physical violence, severe financial retaliation, or coercive control from a partner or family member that makes refusal genuinely unsafe, those situations need real specialized or protective support instead of or alongside the self-directed program, and this screening standard is stated explicitly at the start of each of the three branches of the program.
What if I stop or miss a week: do I lose my progress?
No. Missing a full week is not a failure — specific recovery scenarios await you in non-punitive language, returning you to the phase you were in, not to zero. A lapse is an expected part of any extended behavioral intervention, and managing it is part of the program itself, not something outside it.
How is my real progress measured, and what is the difference between genuine improvement and a passing fluctuation?
By comparing your first baseline with a re-baseline that is not available before at least 21 days from the start of the program. No reliable threshold for change is available yet, so read small differences as an early signal, not a verdict, and do not treat them as confirmed improvement or setback.
Can I add another goal from the family later?
Yes, each goal in this family is an independent, standalone program, and you can purchase and start another goal later as a separate program. If you want to combine two or more skills into one interleaved track from the start instead of sequencing them, the Desired Personality Builder is designed specifically for that, it lets you choose 1 to 3 goals managed together in a single program.
