Team Role Signals
A report on the kind of contribution you tend to make within a team, from your earlier analyses.
Team Role Signals answers the question: what kind of contribution do you tend to make among colleagues? It draws on the team-role typology in peer-reviewed research, which groups roles into three categories: task roles that move the work itself, social roles that keep the team together, and boundary-spanning roles that connect the team with people outside it.
What it is built on: your Communication Style and Influence Style analyses, and colleague ratings of your collaboration from Colleague Mirror when available. Two of the three sources are enough.
What you get:
- The category of roles you lean towards, or both categories if they tie, with the one that follows.
- A practical step you can offer your team, and a point to watch.
- A reading of what colleagues observed about your collaboration, where their ratings exist.
- A table showing each source, its date and what it pointed to.
Who it is for: employers purchase it for their staff through the sales team. Consent to the reading and to showing it stays with the employee alone, and does not pass to the employer by purchasing access.
Clear limits: this is a general leaning towards a kind of contribution that shifts as the team and task change; it is not a tool for forming a team or judging anyone.

Frequently asked questions
Which sources does the reading need?
At least two of three: the Communication Style analysis, the Influence Style analysis and colleague ratings of your collaboration from Colleague Mirror. With fewer than that you see a list of what is missing, and the reading is never estimated.
How is the role category determined?
Each source points to one or two categories, following rules written in advance and derived from the team-role typology in research. Colleague ratings point to the social category when they are moderate or high, and to nothing when they are low.
Can an employer use this signal to accept or reject me?
No. This is a developmental signal about how you lean within a team, and on its own it cannot support any hiring or team-forming decision. A sound decision needs an analysis of the job itself, tools designed for it and human oversight.
My employer purchased the product. Can they see my result?
No, not without your own explicit consent. Purchasing access does not mean consenting on your behalf; the reading is visible only to you within your account.
How does an employer purchase this product?
By contacting the sales team, who agree the number of employees and the access period with the organisation. It is not bought by direct payment from the product page.
How long does the reading stay valid?
180 days from the date of the oldest source it uses. A source older than that is left out and shown with an invitation to update it.
Who can see the result?
Only you, within your account; it is not sent to any other party or app.
